Located about half way down the west coast of India. Goa is a lush green paradise edged on the one side by the wooded foothills of the Sahyadri range and on the other by the Arabian Sea. A view to the Wildlife Sanctuaries make the visit to the place attractive and with the variety of water birds and being the habitat of animals like Sloth Bear, Chitah etc. While viewing the wildlife one can also enjoy the sight of typical Goan forests. Other than sight seeing and viewing the other prospects of life like the celebrations and the cultural activities are also worth seeing. Along that one can relish the food eating with the seafood ranging to varieties. Shopping also becomes a part of visit to the place with handicrafts including excellent brassware, shell work, bamboo work etc. It is thus the best place to relax, enjoy & to have fun.

Climate:
Temperatures are virtually the same throughout the year. In April and May minimum temperatures are notably higher than in the rest of the year. June to September is the period of wet monsoon. Also one can often experience strong winds in this particular duration. Bathing and swimming can thus not be recommended The best time to travel to Goa is from October to March.
