Eco Village resort offers
various luxuries and
pleasures to the guests and
an amazing experience. Clean
toilet and comfortable bed,
with a center for meeting
and knowing fellow
travelers, some pet animals
with an open kitchen for the
guests to see their meal
being cooked by the local
sundarbans women. Eco
village spreads over 2 acres
of land with 17 mud cottages
(double, triple and four
bedded), attached marbled
and tiled toilets, a
community center, a farm
house, few ponds and a vast
land for paddy field and
vegetable farming. The best
part is that all local
materials and local labors
are used to create
eco-village.
Activities:
Local folk artists are there
for the entertainment of
guests, to present their art
to the guests. Lanterns and
lamps and some solar powered
lights are used in the
resort. The idea is to let
people break away from their
daily life chaos spending
few days in the lap of
nature and doing things
which delights their senses.
Take a dip in the ponds,
take a boat into the
mangrove to watch birds in
the daytime and stars at
night, take the goat for
grazing and give water
buffalos a shower. Learn
some Bengali cooking and
meet travelers in the
community center for sharing
