Day 01:
Flight to India (Chennai)
Around midnight arrive in Chennai (formerly known as Madras). Transfer
to the hotel.
Day 02: Chennai - Cochin
After having the breakfast start the sightseeing of Chennai.
We visit the Fort St. George and St. Mary's Church. In the
afternoon we drive along the coast to Cochin. In Cochin we
visit St. Francis church, and have a walk through the Jewish
area of Mattancherry.
Day 03: Cochin
Whole day at leisure to visit Cochin and islands and churches.
In the afternoon we visit a Kathakali dance school.
Day 04: Cochin - Munnar (about 135 km)
In the morning after the breakfast drive to Munnar.
Day 05: Munnar
This day free to explore the natural surroundings at Munnar.
Day 06: Munnar - Periyar (about
160 km)
Today we drive to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. We start our
sightseeing by having a Boat ride on the lake of Periyar.
After the Boat ride we drive through the Park and observe the
elephants, bison, sambar, wild oxen, wild boar and spotted
deer which are common here.
Day 07: Periyar - Trivandrum
In the morning we drive from Periyar to Trivandrum. In
Trivandrum, you will visit Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science &
Technology museum, Anchuthengu Fort and Vettukad Church.
Day 08: Trivandrum
Today you will visit Varkala Beach and Sankhumugham Beach.
Enjoy whole day at beaches.
Day 09: Trivandrum - Kovalam (about 16 km)
Today in the morning, after having breakfast drive to Kovalam
beach. Enjoy the whole day at Kovalam beach, water sports and
Kathakali dances. After coming back from Kovalam beach we
visit Vizhinjam.
Day 10: Kovalam
Whole day at leisure in the beach.
Day 11: Kovalam - Kollam
Today you will drive to Kollam from Kovalam. Today you will
visit Thangasseri village and Thirumullavaram beach.
Day 12: Kollam - Alleppey
After having breakfast drive to Alleppey and enjoy the cruise
across the backwaters on a Houseboat (Kettuvallam). Overnight
stay in the houseboat.
Day 13: Alleppey - Mararikulam
Today you will drive to Mararikulam.
Day 14: Mararikulam
Enjoy the whole day at Mararikulam.
Day 15: Mararikulam - Cochin (about 55 kms.)
Today we drive to Cochin. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 16: Cochin
Around midnight flight to home destination.
