Day 01: Delhi - Jaipur (about 260 km)
In the morning arrive at Delhi airport or railway station.
After arrival in Delhi drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur,
you will drive to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 02: Jaipur
After having breakfast you will drive to Amber which is about
11 km from Jaipur. Amber was the ancient capital of Kachhawaha
dynasty for 6 centuries before it was moved to newly created
Jaipur. Here you will ascend to the Palace Fortress on the
back of an Elephant. Enroute to Amber you will visit the Hawa
Mahal (Palace of the Winds), built in 1799 AD, it contains 953
small casements with each having its own balcony. In the
afternoon you will visit the City Palace which is still the
formal residence of the royal family, built in a blend of the
Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. In the museum of the city
palace we visit the private collection of the Jaipur
Maharajas. Then you will have a walk through the colourful
Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to see the famous block
printing work being done since centuries in Jaipur. Later
visit Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai
Singh's five remarkable observatories. In the evening you will
drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit “Laxmi Narayan
Mandir”, a Hindu temple made out of white marble.
Day 03: Jaipur - Delhi (about 260 km)
In the morning after having the breakfast you will drive to
New Delhi. Arrive in New Delhi in the afternoon. In the
afternoon you will have sightseeing in Old Delhi. Sightseeing
of Old Delhi includes Rajghat, Jama Masjid, Humayun Tomb and
Qutub Minar. Before you will proceed to the hotel you will
drive through New Delhi where you will visit the India Gate,
Government Buildings and Embassies.
Day 04: Delhi (Departure)
In the night drive to airport or railway station for the
onwards journey.
