A beautiful courtyard in Norbulingka Palace, Lhasa. Norbulingka literally means "The Jewelled Park" and  this magnificent palace is  surrounded with splendid gardens. These  gardens  are favorite picnic spots in the city and provide a beautiful venue for theatre, dancing and festivals. The Shoton festival which is an opera festival has long association with this palace.
