Karni Bhawan Palace is an art deco building, built by
Maharaja Dr. Karni Singh ji of Bikaner as his royal
residence. This palace was built in a luxurious art
deco style. Today, Karni Bhawan Palace is a royal
heritage palace belonging to the HRH Group of Hotels. The original character of this hotel has been
preserved and retained for modern day guests.
Various doric pillars, ornamental staircase, large
windows, old paintings, photographs and period
furniture add a distinctive feature to this hotel.
Rooms:
There are about 12 luxuriously furnished
air-conditioned rooms and art deco suites. The rooms
in this hotel are very spacious and have a distinct
style, which marks the art deco architecture of the
1940’s. The rooms have old photographs of the Royal
House of Bikaner and Mewar and past events. The art
deco suites have an authentic old photographs of the
royal family and extra large with period furniture,
old photographs and curios. There is also a bathroom
with separate dressing room with attached hair drier
and sitting cum dining area in the bedroom. All the
suites and rooms are fully equipped with the various
facilities like international direct dial telephone,
satellite television, mini bar, tea or coffee making

Facilities:
Karni Bhawan Palace offers various places for
banquets, special dinners and corporate celebrations.
There is a conference room which can hold about 20
persons. The palace lawns and the top terrace are the
perfect place for banquets, weddings and dinners.
Special dinners can also be held at Junagarh Fort,
Sand dunes and the Gajner sanctuary. About 1000 guests
can attend casual buffet style functions and about 200
guests can attend sit down dinners. Palace Lawns are
well maintained and can accommodate about 20 to 200
guests who can enjoy a sit down banquet in scenic and
quiet environs. Camel or jeep safari into the sand
dunes builds an appetite for a special dinner under
the desert skies.
