The historical mansion
of Pal Haveli in Jodhpur dates back to 300 years.
During the early 19th century Thakur Umaid Karanji
accompanied Maharaja Takhat Singh from Idar in Gujarat
to Jodhpur as the new Maharaja of the Blu City. In
lieu of services rendered to the majesty, Thakur was
awarded the title of Pal. The Family of the Pal was
offered the regal residence, which till date belongs
to the family.
Pal Haveli was converted into a hotel 3 years back.
The hotel maintains is home-like ambiance. The royal
mansion was created with numerous luxuries and till
date the opulence of the house is preserved.
Accommodation:
21 air-conditioned guestrooms with ensuite bathrooms ;
each traditionally furnished, with all modern
amenities. 21 rooms have all means of comfort
including private sit outs, air conditioner, heaters,
TV, telephones, tea-coffee maker, hairdryers, mini bar
and attach bathrooms. Every room differs.
Restaurant:
Pal Haveli’s rooftop restaurant, Indiue, enjoys and
exceptional setting with fabulous vies of the Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan, The Clock Tower and Gulab
Sagar.Visitors as well as in-house guests are warmly
welcomed at Indique, and also at our indoor
restaurant, Jodhana. Open for breakfast, lunch and
dinner, it is in the eveing that the shimmering
candle-lit terrace truly comes into its own. Dining
under a canopy of stars with the illuminated Meherangarh Fort providing a stunning backdrop, a
romantic dinner here will linger long in the memory.
