Family Chantush Raj Kumawat

|
The family of Chantush Raj Kumawat has been an artist family for
many decades. The grandfather of the family was involved in the
restoration of the
Samode Palace, when it was turned into a luxurious hotel in 1985. Chantush’s house was built 18 years
ago in the style of the ancient havelis. The interior of
the house is decorated with marvelous paintings and frescoes, and you
can even find a small “hall of mirrors” insight the house. It is a
wonderful experience to spend a night in this friendly family, where three
generations are united under one roof! Chantush also runs a little
shop in Samode Palace, where he offers painting and other handicrafts.
