Climate of Rajasthan:
|
Climatic conditions of Rajasthan differs very much all over the state.
Climatic conditions in the desert areas of Rajasthan is very warm and
arid in summer, whereas it is very cold during winters. Temperature
usually varies from 32 to 45 degree Celsius in summers, while in
winters the temperature generally varies from 4 to 28 degree Celsius.
The winters are very cold with very little rainfall in the north and
north-eastern parts of Rajasthan.
Temperature may fall to 0 degree Celsius in some parts of Rajasthan
like in Mount Abu and Churu.

Rainfall in Rajasthan:
|
The rainfall also differs all over the state. Although the average
annual rainfall varies between 200-400 mm., it is as low as 150 mm. in
dry zones and as high as 1000 mm. in the south eastern part of
Rajasthan.
Mostly all the rainfall (about 70-80%) is received in the months of
July to September from the South west monsoon.
The average number of rainy days differs from 6 to 42 as per the
dryness of the area.
