Kongka La pass is located on the Indo-China border area in the
disputed region of Aksai-Chin and Ladakh. Aksai-Chin is the
portion of Kashmir occupied by China. This is a very less
accessed region most likely because of its geographical
location and by agreement of both the countries, troops do not
patrol in this part of the border.Kongka La Pass is a type of
cycling/pushing Trekking route,it is about 11 Kms from
Tso Kar.
According to many tourists, Buddhist monks and the local
people of Ladakh, the Chinese Military and the Indian Army
maintain the line of control. But there is something much more
serious happening in this area. Some local people on the
Chinese and Indian sides, this is where the UFOs are seen
coming out of the ground.
Kongka La has attractive granites and rocks. For some strange
causes neither Chinese nor Indian authorities ever excavate,
dig or mine holes in this area. The area is perfect and safe. |
