Kadavu resort is located in a sprawling ten acre coconut grove among swaying and graceful palms. The architecture of the resort is authentic Malabar which is constructed with laterite and palm wood. Its gabled red-tiled roofs, lotus ponds and the landscaped gardens, merge so well with the glorious scenery around,
that it describes about the homes in the state of Kerala. The interiors of the resort blends tradition with the luxuries and facilities of the modern living.
Location:
Kadavu resort is located on the the banks of the Chaliyar river. This resort is located just 13 kms away from the Calicut airport. The nearest railway station is located at Feroke which is about 5 kms and the major railway station is located at Calicut, which is about 13 kms away.

Rooms:
There are about 17 cottages in the Kadavu resort which are located beside the waterside. These cottages have a wide and spacious balconies that offers a spectacular view of the winding river and beyond. There are about 57 deluxe rooms and 6 executive suites in the Kadavu resort. The rooms have a cosy lounge with a mini bar, refrigerator, television, an attached bathroom with hot and cold running water supply, a bath tub and a kitchen. The luxurious king-size bedroom has a large window sit out which overlooks the river.

Restaurant:
The restaurant at the Kadavu resort is located at a very peaceful side surrounded by the greenery. In this restaurant you can view the Western Ghats or simply gaze at the river flowing by and enjoy a charming candle-lit dinner. The restaurant is made up of the delightfully rustic thatched hut. The multi cuisine restaurant at the Kadavu resort serves the delicious Malabar cuisine, Indian, Continental and the different Mughlai dishes. Oottupura, the restaurant cum bar offers an exotic range of grand and exotic buffets. Maikhana, the bar serves mouthwatering cocktails with a generous dash of the backwater view. Olappura, the coffee shop is located near the swimming pool. The thatched roof of the restaurant is made up of the fronds of palm leaves. This coffee shop is a multi cuisine restaurant which also serves a large variety of international cuisine and continental dishes. This restaurant is open for about 24 hours. Uru, the boat shaped restaurant is located on the banks of the river. The authentic Malabar cuisine, several kinds of kebabs and some special north India dishes are served here. |

Conference Facilities:
The Chaliyar conference
hall has the traditional
interior, and has a
total seating capacity
of 120 people. This hall
is mainly used for
corporate conferences,
parties, social
gatherings and meetings.
The style of the
conference hall is
traditional, but it is
equipped with various
modern amenities, where
you can even hold an
international
conference. Thekkini,
the board room can hold
15 people and is used
for power meetings.
The Bekal is a modern,
hi-tech and the only
convention centre in the
Malabar region. This
convention centre has a
built-in stage, green
room and an
exceptionally large
prefunction area with a
separate entrance. The
hall has a total seating
capacity of 1000 persons
in the theater style. This
convention centre is built
in the traditional
architectural style and
equipped with excellent
audio and video facilities
where you can also hold
your meetings, exhibitions
and any such mega
gatherings

Recreation Facilities:
Besides these, there are various activities in which the tourists can engage themselves. One of the largest swimming pool in South India is located in the Kadavu resort with the ozone treatment plant, a Jacuzzi and a small paddling pool for kids. A fully equipped gym, a tennis court and various indoor games like carrom and chess are also available in the resort. The tourists can also enjoy boating, fishing and sailing. The outdoor amphitheatre in the Kadavu resort stages various folk arts, dances and Kalaripayattu, the ancient form of martial arts.

There is a dedicated centre for Ayurveda in the Kadavu resort, made in consultation with the Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala of Thaikkat Moss. This
physician hails from one of the eight great families that have practised this amazing science for generations. This centre is equipped with all the modes of the treatment followed by the great
masters.
