Day
01: Flight to India (Mumbai)
Around midnight arrival in
Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay).
The cosmopolitan city and capital of
Maharashtra is the main gateway for the travellers.
Upon arrival, you will be met by an
Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day
02: Mumbai - Bangalore
In the morning we will have flight to
Bangalore.
Upon arrival, you will be met by an
Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the
hotel. Bangalore is the capital city of the
Indian state Karnataka. This former "Garden city"
Bangalore is known today as "computer city"
of
India. In the afternoon drive through the garden city
with its numerous avenues of Jacaranda, gulmohar and cassia.
We visit the Bull temple in which there is monolithic
Nandi "Shiva's Bull" and also visit the Tipu's
summer Palace and famous Gowda Fort, built by Tipu Sultan.
Drive past numerous parks, the Vidhan Sauda and downtown
commercial centre.

03: Bangalore - Hassan
In the morning we drive to
Hassan via Protima Bedi's Dance
Village. Arrive Hassan by lunch. We will have an overnight stay in Hassan.

04: Hassan - Mysore
In the morning after having breakfast, drive to
Mysore
via Srirangapatnam. Srirangapatnam will be the base for
the Horse Safari. There we visit fort, Tipu Sultan's palace
and the Gombaz. Then we will start the horse safari and
proceed to Rampura. There we enjoy the pastoral life,
meet people and get acquainted with customs and rituals.
Then we move to Darasguppe, on arrival have lunch and
rest. After having lunch we move towards Rajanehalli.
Evening at leisure to visit the beautiful Brindavan gardens
in Mysore. Overnight stay in Mysore.
Day
05: Mysore
In the morning after having breakfast proceed on our horses
to Balmuri Fall. Here one can enjoy the waterfalls. Then
on horses we proceed to Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary. Upon
arrival have lunch and relax. Visit the Bird Sanctuary,
which is an abode for migratory birds like Bill Stock,
White Ibis, Little Egrets etc. from Siberia, Australia
and North America. Today we drive to Chamundi Hill to
see a giant Nandi (buffalo god) and enjoy the view of
the surroundings form the hilltop.

06: Mysore - Madikeri - Mysore
Today in the morning we drive to
Madikeri. This place
is known as the "Scotland Of India". We visit
Madikeri Fort, Abbey Falls, Nisargadhama. Nisargadhama
is known for its calm, serene beauty. This place is an
ideal picnic spot visited by hundreds of tourists throughout
the year. Ride back on our horses to Mysore. Our horse
safari trip will end at Mysore. Today we visit the most
impressive and one of the largest city palaces in India.
The City Palace of Mysore "Ambar Vilas" is built
in the Indo-Saracenic style. Mysore is world famous for
Silk and Sandalwood. Mysore is also a centre of producing
saris, which is a common dress of woman in India.

07: Mysore - Halebid - Belur (about
170 km)
In the morning from Mysore we proceed through picturesque
hilly landscape and arrive in
Halebid. It is the ancient
capital of Hoysala Empire. In Halebid we visit the Hoysalesvara
Temple of 12th century where we see half-life size statues
of Hindu deities, with minute details of each, all around
the temple. After the visit in Halebid we proceed to Belur.
In Belur we visit the group of Chennakesava Temples that
are famous for its architecture and sculptures.
Day
08: Belur - Sravanabelgola - Bangalore
(about 160 km)
In the morning from Belur we move towards Bangalore. In
the way we make a stopover in Servanabelgola where we
visit the colossal monolithic statue of Gomatesvara, standing 18 meters
high erected in the year 1980 AD. This Jain sculpture represents the saintly prince
Bahubali after he had gained enlightenment. After the
visit of Sravanabelgola we proceed for Bangalore. Evening
free to relax.

09: Bangalore - Mumbai
In the afternoon we will drive to the airport for the flight to
Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay). As
the last highlight of our tour we enjoy the city tour
of Mumbai. Mumbai is the second biggest city of India
and is full of contrasts. Mumbai with its temples, cathedrals
and mosques is a real cosmopolitan city of India. In Mumbai
we have a walk through the harbour area and visit the
Gateway of India built in 1927 by English to commemorate
the visit of George 5th from England. After the sightseeing
of Mumbai we drive to the hotel and get relaxed. After
Dinner we drive to the Airport.

10: Mumbai
Around Midnight flight to home destination.
