Hotel Gajner Palace, a grand heritage hotel belonging to the HRH Group of Hotels, is an incomparable jewel in the Thar Desert. This palace is built on the embankment of a lake by H.H. Maharaja Sir Ganga Singhji of Bikaner. This hotel is spread over 6000 acres of land and built of red sandstone. This palace was earlier used by the former Maharajas as a hunting lodge and various British dignitaries also visited during the British Raj System. This palace was also used for duck and Imperial Sand Grouse shooting and lavish entertainment.

The rooms are divided into five different wings which are Dungar Niwas, Mandir Chowk, Gulab Niwas, Champa Niwas and Sardar Niwas. Each suite has been meticulously restored to its original grandeur. Dungar Niwas has about 11 historic suites. These were primarily used by British dignitaries during their leisure trips to the palace. Mandir Chowk is dominated by the presence of an ancient temple and age old Banyan trees. Gulab Niwas has about 31 deluxe rooms that used to be occupied by railway officers in the past. Champa Niwas has a beautiful courtyard with rooms all around it. The historic suites and deluxe rooms have a large bathroom, original palace furniture and decor. Lake facing suites have a bathroom, separate dressing room and sitting cum dining room with 24 hours hot and cold running water supply.

The Mirage restaurant at the Hotel Gajner Palace is a multi cuisine restaurant. This restaurant serves special Indian, Continental, Chinese and Rajasthani meals. The special feature of the menu card of the restaurant is the authentic game recipes known as the "Shikari" dishes made out of chicken and mutton. The drinks and wines are also available here which makes one feel the regal effect along with the food. Mrigtrishna bar serves an exquisite selection of Indian and foreign liquor. A fully automated kitchen with the latest equipment has also recently been designed in the hotel.
