Day 01: Chennai (Arrival)
Around Midnight arrival in Chennai. You are met by our
representative and transferred to your Hotel.
Day 02: Chennai Excursion: Mahabalipuram (about
64 km)
Drive to Mahabalipuram. In Mahabalipuram visit the 14
cave temples and 9 monolithic Rathas (temple chariots).
Later visit the St. George Fort in Chennai.
Day 03: Chennai - Chidambaram - Trichy (about 320
km)
Drive to Trichy (Tiruchirappali). On the way to Trichy
visit Chidambaram. Here, visit the famous Natraja
Temple.
Day 04: Trichy - Srirangam - Tanjore - Madurai
(about 130 km)
Visit the Rock Fort, Shiva and Ganesha temple. Drive to
Srirangam and visit the Ranganathasvami Temple. Drive to
Tanjore and visit the Brihadeshwara Temple. Drive to
Madurai.
Day 05: Madurai - Periyar (about 140 km)
Visit Meenakshi Temple, Tirumalai Nayaka Palace. Drive
to Periyar.
Day 06: Periyar - Kumarakom (about 120 km)
Have a Boat ride on the lake of Periyar. After the Boat
ride drive to Park. Drive to Kumarakom. In Kumarakom
enjoy the Boat ride trip on the backwaters.
Day 07: Kumarakom
The whole day is today at leisure.
Day 08: Kumarakom - Kottayam - Alleppey - Cochin
(about 80 km)
Enjoy a Boat trip through the backwaters of Kottayam to
Alleppey. Drive to Cochin. In Cochin visit St. Francis
church, Jewish area of Mattancherry.
Day 09: Cochin - Ooty (about 280 km)
Drive to Ooty.
Day 10: Ooty - Mysore (about 160 km)
Visit the botanical Garden of Ooty. In the afternoon
proceed to Mysore.
Day 11: Mysore - Chennai (by train)
Visit the City Palace of Mysore. In the afternoon leave
Mysore by train for Chennai.
Day 12: Chennai (Departure)
Around Midnight flight to home destination.
