Day 01: Flight to India
(Mumbai)
Around Midnight arrival in Mumbai. Upon arrival, you
will be met by our representative and transferred to the
hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai
Today you will visit the Gateway of India, Gandhi Museum
and the Hanging Garden.
Day 03: Mumbai - Cochin (by air)
Drive to the airport to take the flight to Cochin. In
Cochin visit St. Francis church, Jewish area of
Mattancherry.
Day 04: Cochin
Whole day at leisure to explore Cochin on your own. In
the late afternoon visit a Kathakali dance school.
Day 05: Cochin - Mararikulam (about 60 kms)
Drive to Mararikulam. Whole day is at leisure in
Mararikulam.
Day 06: Mararikulam
Enjoy the famous palm beaches of Mararikulam.
Day 07: Mararikulam - Alleppey - Kottayam -
Kumarakom
Drive to Alleppey. From Alleppey have a Boat ride
through the backwaters to Kottayam and later to
Kumarakom.
Day 08: Kumarakom
Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. In the evening one
can have a walk in the nice tropical surroundings.
Day 09: Kumarakom - Periyar
Drive to Periyar. Today you will have a Boat ride on the
Periyar lake.
Day 10: Periyar
Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
Day 11: Periyar - Madurai
Drive to Madurai. In Madurai, visit the Meenakshi
Temple and bazaars.
Day 12: Madurai
Visit Tirumalai Nayaka Palace, Gandhi Museum.
Day 13: Madurai - Chennai
Drive to Chennai. In the late evening arrive in Chennai
and drive to the hotel.
Day 14: Chennai
Today you will visit the St. George Fort, St. Mary's
Church. The rest of the day at leisure for shopping.
Day 15: Chennai (Departure)
Around midnight flight to home destination.
