Day
01: Flight to India (New Delhi)
Around midnight arrival in
New Delhi. The cosmopolitan city
and capital of
India is the main gateway for travellers to
India. Upon arrival, you will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and
transferred to the hotel.
Day
02: New Delhi - Srinagar (by air) - Pahalgam
In the morning, after having breakfast we drive to airport
for a flight to Srinagar. On arrival in Srinagar you will
meet an Indo Vacations representative and then drive further
to Pahalgam. On arrival in Pahalgam transfer to hotel for
overnight stay.

03: Pahalgam - Chandanwari (about 16 km)
In the morning, after having breakfast we leave Pahalgam (Valley
of Shepherds) Pahalgam is the best base for most of the treks.
From Pahalgam we will start our first mountain trekking to
Chandanwari (2896 mts). It is a small shut off valley at the
junction of Sheshnag stream and the stream for Astanmarg.
The distance of about 16 km will be covered in about 4-½
hrs. We will have overnight stay at Chandanwari.
Day
04: Chandanwari - Sheshnag (about 13 km)
In the morning, after having breakfast we leave Chandanwari
and trek further to Sheshnag (3576 mts.) The trial climbs
the Pisu Ghati and then climbs gradually to the
Sheshnag Lake.
Sheshnag is one of the windiest places in this valley. The
distance will be covered in about 5 hrs. We will have overnight
stay at Sheshnag.
Day
05: Sheshnag - Panchtarni (about 13 km)
In the morning, after having breakfast we leave Sheshnag and
trek further to Panchtarni (3657 mts.) The distance will be
covered in about 5 hrs. The walk is through Mahagunas Pass
(3200 mts.) and then a gradual walk to Panchtarani. We will
have an overnight stay at Panchtarni.

06: Panchtarni - Amarnath - Sheshnag (about 13 km)
Early in the morning we will start our trek from Panchtarani
to Amarnath cave. We will have a dip in the ice-cold water
of Amarnath stream, which flows outside the cave. Inside the
cave there is scenery of calm tranquility of white and glistering
three massive Lingas stand erect symbol of
Lord Shiva,
Parvati
and Ganesh. We will trek back towards Sheshnag. It is a descending
walk till Sheshnag.
Day
07: Sheshnag - Pahalgam - Srinagar
In the morning after having breakfast we trek down to Pahalgam
via Chandanwari. From Pahalgam we will drive to
Srinagar.
upon arrival, you are met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred
to the hotel. Evening free for leisure.
Day
08: Srinagar
In the morning we have sightseeing of various Mughal Gardens.
First of all we visit Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure). This garden
was built by Asif Khan, brother-in -law of Jahangir in 1632
AD. We will also visit Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love).
Jahangir
built this garden for his wife Noor Jahan. All the gardens
are situated on the bark of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains
in the background. After lunch we will have Shikara ride on
Dal Lake and visit floating and vegetable gardens.
Day
09: Srinagar - New Delhi (by air)
In the morning after having our breakfast we will drive to
the airport for a flight to New Delhi. Evening at leisure.
Day
10: New Delhi
Around midnight flight to home destination.
