Mount Pandim is a Himalayan mountain which is located in West
Sikkim, India. It is about 22,010 ft high and is bounded by
snow-clad mountains. From the Dzongri Top, one gets a
magnificent view of Mount Pandim. This mountain is also
appropriate for journey during the periods from April to May,
and September.
Pandim is also known as Twin peak, referring to its two
summits of similar height. The second peak is at the tip of a
great ridge that can be seen running almost from the top down
through the center of the visible face going slightly
leftwards as it goes down.
Pandim is to the Goechala Trek as Ama Dablam is to the Everest
Base Camp Trek. This imposing peak climbs to about 22000 ft
and dominates the entire trek as we go through the valley
beneath it to Goechala pass. |
