Day 01: Kathmandu (Arrival)
Around midnight arrival in Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will
be transferred to the Hotel. Kathmandu Valley is the cultural
and political heart of the country. The city enjoyed its most
glorious time under the reign of Mallas in the 16th and 17th
century.
Day 02: Kathmandu Excursion: Swayambhunath, Bodnath,
Pashupatinath
In the morning you will start your sightseeing by visiting
Durbar Square. Durbar Square is the spiritual heart of
Kathmandu. You will also visit the temple of living goddess
Kumari. After visiting Durbar Square you will visit
Swayambhunath. Swayambhunath Stupa is famous for the eyes of
Buddha which seem to observing the world from all 4
directions. After Swayambhunath you will visit Bodnath.
Bodnath is the largest Stupa of Nepal. Around the octagonal
base of Stupa there are 108 images of Buddha where prayer
ceremonies of Buddhist Lamas are taking place since over 2000
years. Now you will proceed to the temple city of
Pashupatinath which is Nepal’s most important Hindu pilgrim
site on the banks of the Bagmati river. The temple of
Pashupatinath is dedicated to god Shiva.
Day 03: Kathmandu - Adventure Tented Camp
After having breakfast you will drive to Adventure Tented
Camp. Adventure Tented Camp is perched on the top of the
pristine hill of Pokhari Thumko. This camp is situated at an
altitude of 2000 meters, and is a famous vantage point which
offers a sweeping view of the snowy mountains peaks on the
northern horizon and also an ideal location to watch
spectacular sunrise and sunset. Nature lovers and birdwatchers
can spend the full day exploring this enchanting hill to
discover many of nature’s secrets. Today you will spend full
day in the Adventure Tented camp.
Day 04: Adventure Tented Camp - Panauti - Dhulikhel
Today after having breakfast you will have a walk to southern
trails that leads to Panauti. Panauti is a bustling Newari
village bazaar renowned for its 16th century Bhramayani Temple
and endless terraced hills and paddy fields. This village
offers some very lovely temples and interesting old houses and
the 14th century wooden temple struts. After visiting this
village you will drive to Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel lies at an
altitude of 1650 m and offers a beautiful view of the snowy
range of Himalayas on clear days. This ancient town is
situated about 30 kms east of Kathmandu on the Arniko Rajmarg.
In the evening you will enjoy the clear view of the Himalayas.
Day 05: Dhulikhel - Pokhara
In the morning you will drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is the
gateway to Himalaya. The Pokhara valley is the second biggest
valley in the central hilly region of Nepal after Kathmandu.
The town of Pokhara itself, at an altitude of just 900 m on
the Seti Khola river is overshadowed by the fishtail mountain
(6,999 m), one of the most beautiful mountain of the world. In
the afternoon drive to Begnas lake and have a Boat ride on the
lake.
Day 06: Pokhara - Lume - Dhampus
After having breakfast you will drive from Pokhara to Lume.
From Lume you will have a hike to the Chandra Kot located on
the slopes of the Modi river valley. Chandra Kot is located at
the centre point of the popular tourist destination in the
region and also easily accessible from Pokhara. After reaching
Chandrakot you will have a trek for about 03 to 04 hrs from
Chandrakot to Dhampus. The trek is through the forest and
small villages. Today's walk is a gentle one at first but
quickly followed by a demanding climb through forest to the
Doerali bhanjang (ridgeline crossing point). Lodges at the top
offer a rest place and cold drink or tea. Then a long very
pleasant descent with views on a good day of Machapuchare
(clearly see the Fish’s tail), the Annapurnas, Manaslu. Camp
can be made at Dhampus village or higher at what is known as
Austrian camp. At Dhampus one can expect a serene atmosphere
in a pristine environment with an unrivalled vista of the
Annapurna and Machapuchhre. Overnight at Local Lodge in
Dhampus.
Day 07: Dhampus - Phedi - Pokhara
After breakfast, you will start the trekking from Dhampus to
Phedi and then drive back to Pokhara.
Day 08: Pokhara - Chitwan National Park
Today you will drive to the Royal Chitwan National park. The
area of the National Park covers around 950 square km. The
Chitwan National park is the natural habitat of the Tiger,
great one-horned Indian rhinoceros, leopard, gaur, sloth and
wild bear, sambar. We have our overnight stay in a comfortable
Lodge in the National Park.
Day 09: Chitwan National Park
In the early morning you will have a jungle safari in the
Chitwan National Park penetrating through lush grasslands to
view wildlife. In the afternoon you will take a ride in Canoe
on the Narayani river where there are very good chances of
viewing the gharial crocodiles as well as the mugger
crocodiles, fresh water dolphins, Otters and varieties of
water birds. If you are lucky, you may see the elusive Royal
Bengal Tiger on an elephant safari.
Day 10: Chitwan National Park - Kathmandu
In the morning transfer to the airport to connect to the
flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival you will be met by our
representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 11: Kathmandu (Departure)
Around midnight flight to home destination.
