Day 01:
Kathmandu (Arrival)
Around midnight arrival in Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will
be transferred to the Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu - Patan - Kathmandu
In the morning you will start your sightseeing by visiting
Durbar Square. Durbar Square is the spiritual heart of
Kathmandu. You will also visit the temple of living goddess
Kumari. After visiting Durbar Square you will visit
Swayambhunath. Swayambhunath Stupa is famous for the eyes of
Buddha which seem to observing the world from all 4
directions. After Swayambhunath you will drive to Patan. Patan
was the second largest town in the valley but it has been
absorbed into Kathmandu. Patan was previously known as
Lalitpur (the beautiful city).
Day 03: Kathmandu - Bhaktapur - Nagarkot
In the morning you will drive to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is the
Kathmandu valley's most medieval city and the third biggest
city of the valley. This city is situated about 13 kilometers
east of Kathmandu and was one of the three kingdoms of the
Mallas. Bhaktapur has preserved it's medieval character better
than Patan. Here, you will visit the golden door, the Palace
of 55 windows (15th century) and Pagoda Nyatapola (18th
century). In the evening drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a
famous hill station situated 30 kms east of Kathmandu city at
an altitude of 2,175 m above sea-level. Nagarkot has the best
vantage point for a view of the Himalayas from the Kathmandu
valley.
Day 04: Nagarkot - Kathmandu
In the morning after having breakfast drive to Kathmandu. Rest
of the day at leisure in Kathmandu.
Day 05: Kathmandu (Departure)
Transfer to the airport to connect the flight for onwards
journey.
