Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Around midnight arrival in Delhi. The cosmopolitan City and capital Delhi is the main gateway for travelers. You are met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi - Kolkata (by air)
In the morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Kolkata (formerly known as Calcutta). Kolkata is India’s largest city and one of the biggest city in south Asia. This city was one of the earliest colonial city of British in India. Upon arrival, you will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the hotel. In the evening we visit the Victoria Memorial and magnificent buildings in the area of Chowringhee and Dalhousie Square.


Day 3: Kolkata - Dimapur (by air) - Kohima (about 74 km)
In the morning after having breakfast transfer to airport for the flight to Dimapur. On arrival in Dimapur transferred to a local restaurant for lunch. Later drive straight to Kohima. Kohima is the capital town of Nagaland and situated at an altitude of 1444 m above the sea level. Overnight stay in the hotel in Kohima.

Day 4: Kohima

Today after having breakfast visit the Kohima village which is also known as Bora Basti. (Bora means Big and Basti means village). This village is said to be the biggest and most populous village in Asia and second largest village in the world. To enter the village one has to go through the wooden gate with scimitar of horns of buffalo head pointing towards the bravery and valor of the Angamis. Later we visit the Kohima War Cemetery. This cemetery is a symbolic memorial raised as citation for the supreme sacrifice of the Officers and Jawans (both British and Indians) of the British Army during Second world war. Each grave is supported by a bronze plaque with a moving epitaph. After visiting the war cemetery we visit the local market.

Day 5: Kohima - Khonoma - Kohima (about 40 km)
After breakfast leave for excursion to Khonoma village. Khonoma village is about 20 kms from Kohima. Khonoma village is built on a high spur with spectacular views of the mountains, and beautiful orchids. The Nagas are proud of Khonoma where the Naga fighters made a last stand against the British in 1879. History says that Khonoma gave protection to several villages in the good old days. After visiting the village drive back to Kohima.

Day 6: Kohima - Wokha (about 80 km)
In the morning we drive to Wokha. This district is mainly the seat of Lotha Nagas. Lothas are famous for their cheerful dresses and sweet and melodious songs. On the way to Wokha we will visit Lotha Tribal Village. Overnight stay in a tourist lodge.

Day 7: Wokha - Zunebhoto (about 120 km)
In the morning after having breakfast we drive to Zunebhoto, the land of the Sema Tribes. Semas are a martial tribes and are known for their fighting skills and for the ceremonial war dresses. 

Day 8: Zunebhoto - Mokokchung (about 70 km)
In the morning we drive to Mokokchung. En route we visit Ungma village. This village is second largest village in Nagaland and is still steeped in traditions. After visiting the village we drive to Mokokchung. Mokokchung district is habitat of the Ao Nagas.

Day 9: Mokukchung - Tuensang (about 115 km)

In the morning drive to Tuensang. Enroute you may be able to visit Longtrok at Chungliyimti where according to Ao legend and beliefs, the first Ao ancestors had emerged. After visiting Longtrok we drive to Tuensang. This district is the homeland of a number of beautiful, cheerful and yet attached to ancient wild life accustomed people of Changs, Yimchungers, Khiamungams, Upper Konyaks, Sangtams, Semas and Phoms. These tribes have rich cultural heritage and their dresses are very colourful.

Day 10: Tuensang
Today we visit the Villages of Yakor, Sangpur and Pansao to see Yimchunger and Khiamungem tribes.

Day 11: Tuensang - Mokukchung (about 115 km)

In the morning drive to Mokukchung. Enroute we visit Longkhum village of Ao Tribe, which lies atop a hill. The tree lined approach road to the village is impressive. The view from the students Jubilee Tower on the highest point of the village is breathtaking.

Day 12: Mokukchung - Mon (about 210 km)
In the morning after having breakfast drive to Mon. On the way visit beautiful sceneries. Mon district is the land of the Tattoo faced Naga artisans and craftsman. These people are still ruled by their chiefs who are called Anghs. Tattooed face and wearing feathered head gears and traditional dresses is still predominating among the Konyaks. On the way visit some of the Konyak Tribe, Tobu Village

Day 13: Mon

Today we visit Hakpang and Angpang villages in the Mon district. These villages are around 20 kms away from Mon. Hakpang and Angpang village are the Konyak typical villages. Konyaks were famous for head hunting which they had practiced till 1960. These villages are still keeping hundreds of skulls in their Morong (community hall).

Day 14: Mon - Shangnyu
In the morning we visit Shangnyu village ruled by the chieftain Angh. Shangnyu is one of the prominent villages in the Mon district. There is a wonderful wooden monument which measures about 8 feet in height and 12 feet in breath, which has, it is believed, been constructed by the divine angels. Numerous figures of human being and other creatures are carved on it.

Day 15: Shangnyu - Sibsagar (about 80 km)
After having breakfast we leave for Sibsagar. Upon arrival, transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon we visit the famous Shiva Dol Temple. Overnight stay in Sibsagar.

Day 16: Sibsagar - Dibrugarh (about 150 km) - Delhi 
In the morning drive to the Dibrugarh airport to connect flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi transfer to hotel. After having dinner transfer to the international airport.

Day 17: Flight to home
Around midnight flight back to home destination.
