Day 01: Delhi (Arrival)
Around Midnight arrive in Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be met
by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
Today in the morning you will have sightseeing in Old Delhi.
Sightseeing in Old Delhi includes Rajghat, Jama Masjid,
Humayun Tomb and Qutub Minar. Before you proceed to the hotel
you will drive through New Delhi where you will visit the
India Gate, Government Buildings and Embassies.
Day 03: Delhi - Corbett National Park
Today morning after breakfast you will drive to the Corbett
National Park. It is the India's first National Park, and
designated a Project Tiger Reserve in the year 1973. In 1957,
it was renamed as Corbett National Park in honour of the late
Jim Corbett, the legendary photographer and author. About 580
species of resident and migratory birds have been recorded in
and around the reserve. Great pied hornbill, Pallas's fishing
eagle, Grey-headed fishing eagle, Red-thighed Falconet are
some of the endangered birds found in Corbett. Other birds
found in this region are Tawny Fish Owl, Great Hornbill,
Scaly-bellied Woodpecker, Red-breasted Parakeet, Himalayan
Swiftlet, Stork-billed Kingfisher and Himalayan Rubythroat.
This park has Tigers, Leopards, Sambars, Chital, Hog Deer,
Porcupine, Wild Pigs and Fox.
Day 04: Corbett National Park
In the early morning you will have a safari in the Corbett
National Park. You will view various animals like Tigers,
Leopards, Sambars, Chital, Hog Deer, Porcupine, Wild Pigs and
Fox. On the route stop for birding. Here you will view Great
slaty woodpecker, Great hornbill, Puff-throated babbler,
White-rumped shama, Pallas fish eagle etc.
Day 05: Corbett National Park
In the morning drive to Corbett National Park.
Day 06: Corbett National Park - Agra (about 295 kms)
In the morning drive to Agra. In the evening arrive in Agra
and drive to the hotel.
Day 07: Agra - Bharatpur
In the morning visit Agra fort and Taj Mahal. Later drive to
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Bharatpur has its fame due to
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary or Keoladeo Ghana
National Park is
finest bird sanctuary in Asia. Bharatpur was earlier a duck
shooting resort of the Maharaja. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary with
its 375 species is one of the best Water-bird sanctuaries in
the world. In winter there are many migratory birds from the
northern hemisphere including the rare Siberian Crane.
Day 08: Bharatpur
Morning and evening visit the Bharatpur Bird sanctuary for
Birding.
Day 09: Bharatpur - Ranthambore
In the morning visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Later drive to Ranthambore.
Day 10: Ranthambore
Morning and evening excursion to the Ranthambore National
Park.
Day 11: Ranthambore - Jaipur
In the morning drive to Jaipur. In the afternoon you will
visit the City Palace that is still the formal residence of
the royal family, built in a blend of the Rajasthani and
Mughal architecture. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, a stone
observatory, and the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable
observatories. Later, you will have a walk through the
colourful Bazaars of Jaipur. In the evening you will drive
through the new city of Jaipur and visit "Laxmi Narayan Mandir",
a Hindu temple made out of white marble.
Day 12: Jaipur - Delhi
In the morning after breakfast you will visit the ancient
capital of Amber, laying 11 km away from Jaipur. Amber was the
ancient capital of Kachhawaha dynasty for 6 centuries before
it was moved to newly created Jaipur. You will ascend to the
Palace Fortress on the back of an Elephant. Enroute to Amber
you will visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), built in
1799 AD. It contains 953 small casements with each having its
own balcony. Later drive to Delhi airport for the flight to
home destination.
