Day 01: Flight to India (Delhi)
Around Midnight arrive in Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be met
by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Bagdogra (by air) - Martam
Today you will drive to the airport for the flight from Delhi
to Bagdogra. After you will arrive in Bagdogra you will drive
through the forests and proceed to Martam Forest.
Day 03: Martam
Today, you will have half day bird watching in Martam Forest
and drive to the hotel for lunch. After Lunch the day is free
to explore the Village and meet the people of village.
Day 04: Martam - Gangtok - Martam
Today you will drive from Martam to Gangtok. You will visit
Tsuk-la-Khang, the royal chapel standing on a high bridge.
This is the major place of worship and has large and
impressive collection of scriptures. You will also visit the
institute of cottage industries as here wide range of local
handicrafts in Lepcha style is produced. Later you will visit
the Enchey monastery. This monastery is believed to be 200
years old. After the visit of Enchey monastery you will drive
to Martam.
Day 05: Martam - Rabangla
In the morning you will drive to Menam forests of Oak,
Chestnuts, Magnolia and Rhododendrons, likely to spot some of
the species of birds. Some of the birds that you will see are
Eurasian Buzzard, Eurasian Kestrel, Grey winged Blackbird,
Buff barred Warbler, Blyth Leaf Warbler, Grey hooded Warbler,
Black faced Warbler, Rufous gorgeted Flycatcher, Red flanked
Bluetail, Blue fronted Redstart, Grey Bushchat, White throated
Fantail, Chestnut tailed Minla, Red tailed Minla and more.
Day 06: Rabangla - Yuksom
Today you will have half day bird watching in Dubdi Monastery
Forest area and drive back to hotel for lunch. After having
lunch, visit the throne of the first king of Sikkim and
explore around the village. Night stay in Yuksom.
Day 07: Yuksom - Khechopalri Lake
In the morning you will drive to Khechopalri Lake. Arrive in
Khechopalri Lake in the evening.
Day 08: Khechopalri Lake
Today, you will have full day bird watching in and around
Khechopalri Lake.
Day 09: Khechopalri Lake - Pemayangtse
Today you will drive from Khechopalri Lake to Pemayangtse (The
perfect Sublime Lotus). In the evening arrive in Pemayangtse.
Day 10: Pemayangtse
In the morning after having breakfast, you will visit Sanga
Choling Monastery and drive back to the hotel for lunch. After
having lunch, you will visit Pemayangtse Monastery and
Rabdantse Palace Ruins.
Day 11: Pemayangtse - Namchi
After the breakfast you will drive from Pemayangtse to Namchi.
Day 12: Namchi
Today you will have full day bird watching in the Namchi
forest area.
Day 13: Namchi - Darjeeling
After having breakfast, you will drive from Namchi to
Darjeeling. Today you will have half day bird watching in the
Mungpoo Forest area.
Day 14: Darjeeling - Bagdogra
Today you will drive to Bagdogra.
Day 15: Bagdogra - Delhi (by air)
In the afternoon you will drive to the airport for the flight
from Bagdogra to Delhi. The rest of the day at leisure.
Day 16: Delhi (Departure)
Around midnight flight to home destination.
