Day 01: Flight to India (Delhi)
Around midnight arrival in Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be
met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
The whole day is at leisure.
Day 03: Delhi - Bharatpur
In the morning you will drive from Delhi to Bharatpur to visit
the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, one of the finest bird
sanctuaries in the world. Bharatpur is popular for its bird
sanctuary or the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, finest in Asia.
This sanctuary has more than 400 species of water birds and is
also the best spot to watch the exotic migratory birds from
Afghanistan, Central Asia, Tibet as well as Siberian cranes
from the Arctic.
Day 04: Bharatpur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
In the early morning you will visit the Bharatpur Bird
Sanctuary. After visiting the Bird Sanctuary you will proceed
to Agra. Enroute you will make a stop and visit Fatehpur Sikri,
which was once an imperial capital frozen in time, constructed
by Akbar the Great in the 16th century. This wonderful city
constructed by red sand stones was abandoned as abruptly as it
had been built. It has been generally stated that it was due
to failing in the water supply. In the evening you will arrive
in Agra.
Day 05: Agra - Gwalior (about 120 km)
Today you will start your sightseeing by a visit to the Agra
Fort, built by three of the greatest Mughal emperors. After
the visit of Agra Fort you will proceed to visit the most
beautiful monument of India, the Taj Mahal, an enduring
monument to love, with a continually fulfilling beauty. After
visiting the Taj Mahal you will drive further to Gwalior.
Day 06: Gwalior - Khajuraho (about 330 km)
In the morning you will visit the Gwalior fort. After visiting
the Gwalior fort you will drive further to Khajuraho. On the
way to Khajuraho you will visit Orchha. After the visit of
Orchha you will proceed for Khajuraho. Arrival in Khajuraho in
the late evening.
Day 07: Khajuraho - Panna National Park (about 57 kms)
In the morning after having breakfast you will drive to visit
Panna National Park. The region, which is famous for its
diamonds, is also home to some of the best wildlife species in
India and is one of the better Tiger Reserves in the country.
Panna National Park is known worldwide for its Wild Cat,
Tiger, Deer, Antelope, Leopard, Wild Dog, Wolf, Hyena, Sloth
bear, Sambar, Nilgai, Chinkara, Chital, Chowsingha etc. You
will have a jungle safari to watch the activities of these
animals.
Day 08: Panna National Park - Bandhavgarh National Park
Today you will drive further to visit Bandhavgarh National
Park. Bandhavgarh National Park covers an area of 105 square
km. The animals found in this area are Tiger, Leopard, Sloth
Bear, Gaur, Sambars, Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara, Wild Pig. It is
the same place where white tigers were first found. You will
have a jungle safari to watch the activities of these animals.
Day 09: Bandhavgarh National Park - Kanha National Park
In the early morning you will leave the Bandhavgarh National
Park and proceed to visit the Kanha National Park. Kanha
National Park is perhaps the largest wildlife sanctuary in
Asia. It covers an area of over 1,945 square km and was
established in the year 1974. This park is a home of animals
like Tiger, Porcupine, Jackal, Sloth Bear, Jungle Cat,
Macaque, Dhole, Bison and a wide variety of birds. You will
have a jungle safari to watch the activities of these animals.
If you are lucky you will get to see the rare hardground
Barasingha, which is found only in Kanha.
Day 10: Kanha National Park - Khajuraho
In the morning you will leave the Kanha National Park and
drive to Khajuraho.
Day 11: Khajuraho - Delhi (by air)
Today you will visit the temple complex of Eastern Group and
Western Group to see the most beautiful temples in India. In
the afternoon transfer to the airport for flight to Delhi. In
the evening you will arrive in Delhi. Evening at leisure.
Day 12: Delhi (Departure)
Around midnight flight to home destination.
