Day 01: Flight to India (Delhi)
Around midnight arrival in Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be
met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
In the morning you will have sightseeing of Old Delhi.
Sightseeing of Old Delhi includes Rajghat, Jama Masjid,
Humayun Tomb, Qutub Minar. Before you will proceed to the
hotel you will drive through New Delhi where you will visit
the India Gate, Government Buildings and Embassies.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur
Today you will leave Delhi and drive to the Pink City Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur
After breakfast you will visit the ancient capital of Amber,
laying 11 km. away from Jaipur. Amber was the ancient capital
of Kachhawaha dynasty for 6 centuries before it was moved to
newly created Jaipur. You will ascend to the Palace Fortress
on the back of an Elephant. Enroute to Amber you will visit
the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), built in 1799 AD, it
contains 953 small casements with each having its own balcony.
Later you will visit the City palace, which is still the
formal residence of the royal family, built in a blend of the
Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Later visit the Jantar
Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai Singh's five
remarkable observatories and have a walk through the colourful
Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to see the famous block
printing work being done since centuries in Jaipur. In the
evening you will drive through the new city of Jaipur and
visit "Laxmi Narayan Mandir", a Hindu temple made out of white
marble.
Day 05: Jaipur - Ranthambore
Today you will leave the pink city Jaipur and drive to
Ranthambore. After a break and refreshment in Ranthambore you
will explore the Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambore
National Park is surrounded by the Vindhyas and the Aravali
mountains and covers an area of 392 square km. The Tiger
remains the biggest attraction of the Ranthambore National
Park.
Day 06: Ranthambore - Bharatpur
In the morning after breakfast you will move further to visit
Bharatpur, where the famous Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary or
Keoladeo Ghana National Park, India's largest bird sanctuary
and a paradise for bird lovers is located. The marshes here
are home to over 360 species of birds including the Siberian
cranes. This sanctuary has more than 400 species of water
birds and is also the best spot to watch the exotic migratory
birds from Afghanistan, Central Asia, Tibet as well as
Siberian cranes from the Arctic.
Day 07: Bharatpur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
In the early morning you will visit the Bharatpur Bird
Sanctuary to enjoy bird watching. After having breakfast you
will drive to Agra. Enroute you will make a stop and visit
Fatehpur Sikri, which was once an imperial capital frozen in
time, constructed by Akbar the Great in the 16th century. This
wonderful city constructed by red sand stones was abandoned as
abruptly as it had been built. It has been generally stated
that it was due to failing in the water supply. In the evening
you will arrive in Agra. Evening free for leisure.
Day 08: Agra
Today you will start your sightseeing by a visit to the Agra
Fort, built by three of the greatest Mughal emperors. After
the visit of Agra Fort you will proceed to visit the most
beautiful monument of India, the Taj Mahal, an enduring
monument to love, with a continually fulfilling beauty.
Day 09: Agra - Gwalior (about 120 kms)
After the breakfast you will drive to Gwalior. You will visit
the fort of Gwalior today itself. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 10: Gwalior - Orchha - Khajuraho (about 330 kms)
Today early morning you will leave Gwalior and proceed to
Khajuraho. On the way to Khajuraho you will visit Orchha.
After the visit of Orchha you will proceed for Khajuraho.
Arrive in Khajuraho in the late evening.
Day 11: Khajuraho
Today you will visit the temple complex of Eastern Group and
Western Group to see the most beautiful temples in India.
Evening free for leisure.
Day 12: Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh National Park
In the morning from Khajuraho you will drive further to visit
Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh National Park covers an
area of 105 square km lies in the Vindhyan Mountains range.
The animals found in this area are Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear,
Gaur, Sambars, Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara, Wild Pigs. It is the
same place where white tigers were first spotted in the year
1951. In the afternoon you will visit the Bandhavgarh National
Park and have a jungle safari.
Day 13: Bandhavgarh National Park - Kanha National Park
In the morning you will drive further to visit the Kanha
National Park. Kanha National Park is perhaps the largest
wildlife sanctuary in Asia. This park is a home of animals
like Tiger, Porcupines, Jackals, Sloth Bear, Jungle Cat,
Macaque, dhole (wild dogs), Bison and a wide variety of birds.
If you are lucky you will get to see the rare hardground
Barasingha, which is found only in Kanha.
Day 14: Kanha National Park
In the early morning you will have the Jungle Safari in the
Kanha National Park. Evening free for leisure.
Day 15: Kanha National Park - Bhopal
In the morning from Kanha National Park you will drive to
Bhopal. Evening free for leisure on arrival in Bhopal.
Day 16: Bhopal - Delhi (by air)
In the morning transfer to airport for the flight to Delhi.
Evening free at leisure.
Day 17: Delhi (Departure)
Around midnight flight to home destination.
