Day 01: Flight to India (Delhi)
Around midnight arrival in Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be
met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
This day is at leisure either to have sightseeing in Delhi or
relaxation.
Day 03: Delhi - Guwahati (by air)
In the morning you will have a flight from Delhi to Guwahati.
By the afternoon, arrival in Guwahati. Upon arrival you will
be transferred to the hotel. Evening free for leisure in
Guwahati.
Day 04: Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park
In the morning from Guwahati you will drive towards Kaziranga
National Park. Kaziranga was declared a game sanctuary in the
year 1908, to save the Indian one-horned rhino. In this park,
you can also see Wild Buffalo, Bison, Sambar, Swamp Deer, Hog
Deer, Wild Pig, Hoolock Gibbon, Elephants and Tiger.
Day 05: Kaziranga National Park
Early morning visit the Kaziranga National Park. Evening free
for leisure.
Day 06: Kaziranga - Guwahati - Bagdogra (by air)
In the morning from Kaziranga you will drive to Guwahati to
connect flight to Bagdogra. You will arrive in Bagdogra by
afternoon. Evening free for leisure.
Day 07: Bagdogra - Kalimpong
In the morning after the breakfast you will proceed your
journey from Bagdogra towards Kalimpong. In the evening you
will have sightseeing in Kalimpong.
Day 08: Kalimpong - Siliguri
Early morning you will enjoy the thrill of rafting on river
Teesta and then drive down towards Siliguri. Arrive in
Siliguri by evening. Evening free for leisure.
Day 09: Siliguri - Kolkata
In the morning after the breakfast you will drive towards
Kolkata from Siliguri. Kolkata is the cosmopolitan city and
capital of West Bengal. Today you will visit the Victoria
Memorial and magnificent buildings in the area of Chowringhee
and Dalhousie Square. You will also visit the Jain Temple and
the Fort Williams. In the area of Joransanko you will have the
opportunity to visit the family house of the famous Indian
writer Rabindranath Tagore.
Day 10: Kolkata - Sunderbans National Park
In the morning from Kolkata you will drive to Basanti Port.
From Basanti Port by a motor launch you will move towards
Sunderbans National Park. Sunderbans with their mangrove
swamps covering around 2500 square km in the Ganga Brahmaputra
delta are spread across to Bangladesh. These are the largest
estuarine forests in the world. This reserve has over 200
Bengal tigers, Spotted Deer, Wild Boar, Monkeys, Snakes and
Crocodiles. You will visit the park in a motor launch.
Day 11: Sunderbans National Park
You will have a full day cruise through mangrove creeks for
wildlife viewing and bird watching.
Day 12: Sunderbans National Park - Kolkata
In the morning you will visit Ravindranath Tagore Society to
see the rural development project. Return back to Basanti Port
by the afternoon. From Basanti Port you will drive to Kolkata.
Arrive in Kolkata by the evening.
Day 13: Kolkata - Delhi (by air)
In the morning you will have a flight from Kolkata to Delhi.
The rest of the day at leisure.
Day 14: Delhi (Departure)
Around midnight flight to home destination.
