Day 01: Kathmandu
Around midnight arrival in Nepal. The cosmopolitan city and the capital
Kathmandu is the main gateway for travellers to
Nepal. Kathmandu Valley is the cultural and political heart of the country. The city enjoyed its most glorious time under the reign of Mallas in the 16th and 17th century. Upon arrival, you will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu
In the morning we start our sightseeing by visiting Durbar Square.
Durbar Square is the spiritual heart of Kathmandu. The old royal palace at the centre of the city was surrounded by temples and other important buildings. This is the most important point in Kathmandu to see the culture and religion of Nepal. After visiting Durbar Square we visit the temple of living goddess Kumari. Afterwards we visit Swayambhunath. The stupa at Swayambhunath is the most important and oldest site of Buddhist worship in Nepal. Swayambhunath Stupa is famous for the eyes of Buddha which seem to observing the world from all 4 directions. After visiting Swayambhunath we will drive to
Patan. Patan was the second largest town in the valley but it has been absorbed into Kathmandu. Patan was previously known as Lalitpur (the beautiful city). The famous King Ashoka built the Stupas at four corners in the 250 BC. The temple architecture here gave this city fame to be unique and most beautiful. After visting Patan we drive back to the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Kathmandu - Chitwan National Park
After having breakfast we drive to the
Royal Chitwan National park. This national park is situated near the Indian Nepal border. The area of the National Park covers around 950 square km. The Chitwan National park is the natural habitat of the Tiger, great one-horned Indian rhinoceros, leopard, gaur, sloth and wild bear, sambar. We have our overnight stay in a comfortable Lodge in the National Park.
Day 04: Chitwan National Park
In the early morning you will have a jungle safari in the Chitwan National Park penetrating through lush grasslands to view wildlife. This grass is commonly known as elephant grass and is very dense and grows to a height of 18-20 ft. In the afternoon we take a ride in Canoe on the Narayani river where there are very good chances of viewing the gharial crocodiles as well as the mugger crocodiles, fresh water dolphins, Otters and varieties of water birds.
Day 05: Chitwan National Park - Kathmandu
After having breakfast we will drive to Kathmandu. Rest of the day at leisure in Kathmandu.
Day 06: Kathmandu - New Delhi - Goa (by air)
In the morning transfer to the airport for flight to
New Delhi. After arrival in New Delhi flight to
Goa. Upon arrival, you will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the Hotel. Goa is a lush green paradise edged on the one side by the wooden foothills of the Sahyadri range and on the other by the Arabian Sea. Goa, a tiny emerald land on the West Coast of India, with its natural scenic beauty, attractive beaches and temples famous for its architecture has an ideal tourist profile. Evening free for leisure.
Day 07: Goa
Today we will spent our day at various beaches in Goa as the beaches of Goa makes Goa the premier beach vacation destination. The first beach stop over in Goa is Anjuna beach.
Anjuna Beach is famous for its fluorescent painted palm trees and infamous full moon parties. The people visit this beach to dance and lay on the beach slurping tropical fruit. Then we visit Baga beach to watch the sun go down, as Baga beach is an ideal place to view the sunset. Baga beach is basically an extension of Calangute beach. This beach lies in the lee of a rocky, wooded headland, making this beach marginally more varied and picturesque beach.
Day 08: Goa
Whole day at leisure in Goa.
Day 09: Goa - Mumbai (by air)
In the morning transfer to airport for flight to
Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. After refreshment we start our sightseeing by city tour of Mumbai. In Mumbai we have a walk through the harbour area and visit the Gateway of India built in 1927 by English to commemorate the visit of George 5th from England. After the sightseeing of Mumbai we drive to the hotel and get relaxed.
Day 10: Mumbai
Around midnight flight to home destination.
