Situated on the ancient caravan route, Nubra valley in Ladakh has been recently opened for tourism. Nubra means "Ldumra" (the valley of flowers). It is situated in the north of Ladakh region. The overland route to Nubra passes through world highest motorable road,
KhardungLa pass (18380 feet). The villages look pretty with greenery, willow and poplar tress. Till partition Nubra valley was one of the trade center on the ancient famous silk route.
The best season for trekking in Nubra Valley is from July to
September.

Day 01: New Delhi
Around midnight arrival in
New Delhi. The cosmopolitan city and capital of India is the main gateway for travellers to
India. Upon arrival, you will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the hotel.

02: New Delhi - Leh (by
air)
In the morning we will drive to airport for the flight to
Leh and cross over the great Himalayas, the flight is a spectacle in itself. Upon arrival, you will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the hotel in Leh. Today
you will acclimatize yourself in this enchanting Ladakhi town.

03: Leh Excursion
After a day of acclimatization in this enchanting Ladakhi town, today
you will explore the local attractions and the magnificent monasteries of Shey, Hemis and Thikse. Today we visit the monastery of Thikse.
Thikse is one of the most imposing monastery in Ladakh. The monastery has 12 stories, 10 temples, a nunnery and 60 lamas in residence. It contains numerous stupas, statues, tankhas, wall painting and a large pillar engraved with the teaching of
Buddha. We can also see here a collection of Tibetan scripts. After the visit of Thikse we visit the village of Shey on the eastern bank of the Indus. Shay was the royal residence and was located at an important vantage point in the
Indus valley. It has a large victory
Stupa which is topped with gold. After the visit of the monastery of Shey we visit the monastery of Hemis. The rich monastery of Hemis is the biggest in
Ladakh and is perched on top of a pleasant green hill surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.

04: Leh - Phyang
Today after having breakfast we visit the Phyang monastery and then start the trek from Phyang village. Gompa Phyang is a traditional monastery setting for a spectacular religious festival with masked dancing. There are 50 red capped monks residing here.

05: Phyang - Lasirmo La - Hunder
Today we start our trekking excursion from Phyang. The trek passes over the barren and dry landscape as we cross over the highest point at Lasirmo La (5300 M). The high mountain pass offers some spectacular views of the Karakoram, Ladakh and
Zanskar ranges. From Lasirmo La, the trail descends into the
Nubra valley near Hunder and from here the topology changes into a dry plateau. In the evening we will arrive in Hunder. We have an overnight stay in
Hunder.

06: Hunder - Khalsar - Digger
In the morning from Hunder we will be transferred on our vehicles to
Khalsar along the banks of
Shiyok River and then by starting the trekking again we pass through some remote villages and finally cross Digger La (5200 M). The high mountain pass offers the panoramic views of both Ladakh and Nubra valley.

07: Digger - Saboo
In the morning from Digger we will move towards our final trekking destination which is Saboo. Our trek will finish at the Saboo village.

08: Saboo - Leh
In the morning after having breakfast we will return to Leh. Upon arrival in Leh you will be transferred to the hotel. The day is at leisure to have rest after a long tiresome journey.

09: Leh
The whole day free for leisure to explore the local market.

10: Leh - New Delhi
(by air)
In the morning transfer to the airport to board flight for New Delhi. Arrival in Delhi in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day at leisure.

11: New Delhi
In the morning we will have sightseeing of Old Delhi. Sightseeing of Old Delhi includes "Rajghat", "Jama Masjid" and the great mosque of old Delhi. Today we also visit the famous "Humayun Tomb" which is the first substantial example of
Mughal architecture in India. We will also visit "Qutub Minar" which is 71 meter high and consists of five stories. In 1199 work began on this tower, which was intended to be the most glorious tower of victory in the world. Before we proceed to the hotel we will drive through New Delhi where we will visit the
India Gate, Government Buildings and Embassies. After the sightseeing we drive to the airport.

12: New Delhi
Around midnight flight to home destination.
