Day 01: Delhi (Arrival)
Around midnight arrive in Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be met
by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Jaipur (about 270 km / 5-6 hours)
This morning is at leisure. Afternoon sightseeing in Old
Delhi. You will have a Rickshaw Ride parallel to the Red Fort
through the old city and famous Silk Road and Silver Bazaar.
Sightseeing of Old Delhi includes Rajghat, Jama Masjid,
Humayun Tomb and Qutub Minar. In the afternoon drive to the
“pinkcity” Jaipur.
Day 03: Ayurveda in Jaipur: City Sightseeing
Today you start with your Ayurveda Rejuvenation Package in
Jaipur in our special Ayurveda Clinic. Till noon there will be
short lectures on Ayurveda treatments and after that you will
be invited by the Doctor to discuss your personal treatment.
This personal discussion and the observation & consultation
thereafter will be the base for your Ayurveda treatment
planning for the next coming days. In the afternoon you will
explore the “Pinkcity” Jaipur. Enroute to the old city, you
will visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), built in 1799
AD containing 953 small casements with each having its own
balcony. You will also visit the city palace which is still
the formal residence of the royal family, built in a blend of
the Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. In the museum of the
city palace we will visit the private collection of the Jaipur
Maharajas. Later continue to Jantar Mantar, a stone
observatory, the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable
observatories.
Day 04: Ayurveda in Jaipur Excursion: Amber (about 10 km /
2 hours)
Till noon you will spend your time in the Ayurveda Clinic
where you will be treated as per your personal treatment
schedule by different methods as oil therapy, steam and herbal
treatment under the supervision of the Ayurveda Doctor. In the
afternoon you will drive to the ancient capital of Amber,
laying 11 km. away from Jaipur. Amber was the ancient capital
of Kachhawaha dynasty for 6 centuries before it was moved to
newly created Jaipur. You will ascend to the Palace Fortress
on the back of an Elephant.
Day 05: Ayurveda in Jaipur
Day till noon is reserved for the Ayurveda treatment in
Ayurveda Rejuvenation Centre. Afternoon is free at your
leisure. In the evening there will be a lecture on practice of
Ayurveda in daily life from an Ayurveda expert. This lecture
will be held in the hotel.
Day 06: Ayurveda in Jaipur Excursion : Sariska (around 110
km / 2˝ hours)
Day till noon is reserved for the Ayurveda treatment in
Ayurveda Rejuvenation Centre. Today you will drive to Sariska
Tiger Reserve which is situated in the northern part of
Aravali hills. Sariska has an area above 479 square km and was
declared a Tiger Reserve in 1973 from the government of India.
You will have a jungle ride to watch the activities of Sambars,
Chitals, Nilgais, Chausinghas, Jackals, Wild boars, langurs
etc.
Day 07: Ayurveda in Jaipur
Day till noon is reserved for the Ayurveda treatment in
Ayurveda Rejuvenation Centre. The rest of the day today is at
your leisure. One can explore Jaipur on his own.
Day 08: Ayurveda in Jaipur Excurison: Sanganer (about 20 km
/ 2 hours)
Day till noon is reserved for the Ayurveda treatment in
Ayurveda Rejuvenation Centre. In the afternoon you will drive
to Sanganer. Sanganer is famous for its traditional textile
printing and paper work. Paper making is practised in the
Kagazi Mohulla (paper area) and uses waste cotton and silk
rags which are churned into a pulp, sieved, strained and
dried. The finished products are often speckled with gold and
silver.
Day 09: Ayurveda in Jaipur (Sightseeing in Jaipur)
Day till noon is reserved for the Ayurveda treatment in
Ayurveda Rejuvenation Centre. In the afternoon you will have a
walk through the colourful Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a
factory to see the famous block printing work being done since
centuries in Jaipur. After the walk you will drive through the
new city of Jaipur and visit “Laxmi Narayan Mandir”, a Hindu
Temple made of white marble.
Day 10: Ayurveda in Jaipur Excursion: Nahargarh (about
07 km)
Day till noon is reserved for the Ayurveda treatment in
Ayurveda Rejuvenation Centre. In the afternoon you will drive
to Nahargarh, Nahargarh is also known as the tiger fort and
was constructed in the 18th century to protect the capital.
The surrounding hills also provided good defence. There are
excellent views of the Jaipur city from Nahargarh (Tiger
hill).
Day 11: Ayurveda in Jaipur
Day till noon is reserved for the Ayurveda treatment in
Ayurveda Rejuvenation Centre. In the evening there will be a
second lecture in the Hotel on the Ayurveda from an Ayurveda
Expert.
Day 12: Ayurveda in Jaipur Excursion: Samode (about 40 km /
3 hours)
Day till noon is reserved for the Ayurveda treatment in
Ayurveda Rejuvenation Centre. Today will be the last day to
enjoy the Ayurveda treatment at centre. In the afternoon you
will drive to Samode. Samode is famous for its palace where
you will have an overnight stay. We enjoy the stay in the
Samode Palace and visit the wonderful Darbar Hall (Audience
hall) and other parts of the palace of Maharaja which are
decorated beautifully with the miniature paintings.
Day 13: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (about 260 km /
5 hours)
Today you leave Rajasthan, the biggest state in India and
drive through a series of fields, small towns and villages in
direction of Agra. Enroute you will make a stop and visit
Fatehpur Sikri, which was once an imperial capital frozen in
time, constructed by Akbar the Great in the 16th century. This
wonderful city constructed by red sand stones was abandoned as
abruptly as it had been built. It has been generally stated
that it was due to failing in the water supply. In the evening
arrive in Agra. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 14: Agra
Today, you will start your sightseeing by a visit to the Agra
Fort, built by three of the greatest Mughal emperors. After
the visit of Agra Fort you will proceed to visit the most
beautiful monument of India, the Taj Mahal, an enduring
monument to love, with a continually fulfilling beauty. It was
built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1631-52, as a
tomb and memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal (Jewel of
the Palace), who died at the age of 39 giving birth to her
14th child.
Day 15: Agra - Delhi (about 200 km / 4 hours)
Late morning, after having breakfast drive to Delhi. Arrival
in Delhi in the afternoon. The rest of the day at leisure.
Day 16: Flight to Home
Around midnight flight back to the home destination.
