Day 01: Udaipur (Arrival)
In the morning arrive at the Udaipur airport or railway
station. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative
and transferred to the hotel. Udaipur is called the romantic
city of Rajasthan. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 02: Udaipur
Today you will start your sightseeing with the visit of
Sahelion-Ki-Bari. This Garden of the Maids of Honour is well
laid out with extensive lawns and shady walks. After the visit
of Garden of Maids you will visit a Museum of folk art. After
a break you will visit the City Palace, the biggest Palace in
India, where 4 generations of Maharajas added their
contribution. The museum of the palace includes the beautiful
peacock mosaic and miniature wall paintings of Indian
mythology. Today you will have an opportunity to visit a
traditional painting school and see the famous miniature
paintings done. In the evening you will have a Boat ride on
the lake Pichola.
Day 03: Udaipur - Ranakpur (about 94 kms / 1½ hours)
Today you will drive to Ranakpur and visit the Ranakpur Jain
Temples.
Day 04: Ranakpur - Mount Abu (about 131 kms / 2½
hours)
After having breakfast drive to Mount Abu. Arrive in Mount Abu
by the afternoon. After a break you will visit the Dilwara
Jain temples. Dilwara Jain Temples were constructed between
11th and 13th centuries. After visiting the Jain Temples you
will have a walk to the focal point of the town, Nakki Lake.
You will walk through the Bazaar up to Sunset Point from where
the best mountain view can be savoured and you can enjoy the
sunset as the sun gradually drowns itself in the azure sky
between two mountain peaks.
Day 05: Mount Abu - Jodhpur (about 228 km / 5 hours)
In the morning drive to Jodhpur. Evening free for leisure in
Jodhpur.
Day 06: Jodhpur
Today you will visit the Mehrangarh Fort (majestic fort).
Mehrangarh Fort was built on a steep hill and is among the
best in India with exquisitely latticed windows in residential
apartments within. You will also visit the Jaswant Thada, a
royal cenotaph built in white marble. After the sightseeing
you will have a walk through the Bazaars of Jodhpur.
Day 07: Jodhpur (Departure)
After having breakfast drive to airport or railway station for
the onwards journey.
