Day 01: Delhi (Arrival)
Around midnight arrive in Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be met
by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
This morning is at leisure. Afternoon sightseeing in Old
Delhi. You will have a Rickshaw Ride parallel to the Red Fort
through the old city and famous Silk Road and Silver Bazaar.
Sightseeing of Old Delhi includes Rajghat, Jama Masjid,
Humayun Tomb and Qutub Minar. Before you will proceed to the
hotel you will drive through New Delhi where you will visit
the India Gate, Government Buildings and Embassies.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra (about 200 km / 4 hours)
Today you will drive to Agra. In the evening arrive in Agra.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 04: Agra
Today, you will start your sightseeing by a visit to the Agra
Fort, built by three of the greatest Mughal emperors. After
the visit of Agra Fort you will proceed to visit the most
beautiful monument of India, the Taj Mahal, an enduring
monument to love, with a continually fulfilling beauty. It was
built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1631-52, as a
tomb and memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal (Jewel of
the Palace), who died at the age of 39 giving birth to her
14th child.
Day 05: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (about 260 km /
5 hours)
Today you will leave Agra, drive to the Pink City Jaipur.
Enroute you will make a stop and visit Fatehpur Sikri, which
was once an imperial capital frozen in time, constructed by
Akbar the Great in the 16th century. This wonderful city
constructed by red sand stones was abandoned as abruptly as it
had been built. It has been generally stated that it was due
to failing in the water supply. In the evening arrive in
Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur
After having breakfast you will drive to Amber which is about
11 km from Jaipur. Amber was the ancient capital of Kachhawaha
dynasty for 6 centuries before it was moved to newly created
Jaipur. Here you will ascend to the Palace Fortress on the
back of an Elephant. Enroute to Amber you will visit the Hawa
Mahal (Palace of the Winds), built in 1799 AD, it contains 953
small casements with each having its own balcony. In the
afternoon you will visit the City Palace which is still the
formal residence of the royal family, built in a blend of the
Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. In the museum of the city
palace we visit the private collection of the Jaipur
Maharajas. Then you will have a walk through the colourful
Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to see the famous block
printing work being done since centuries in Jaipur. Later
visit Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai
Singh's five remarkable observatories. In the evening you will
drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit “Laxmi Narayan
Mandir”, a Hindu temple made out of white marble.
Day 07: Jaipur - Ranthambore (about 195 km / 4 hours)
Today after the breakfast you will leave for Ranthambore.
Ranthambore is well known for the world famous Ranthambore
National park.
Day 08: Ranthambore - Kota (about 120 km / 2˝ hours)
In the early morning you will explore the park and have a
jungle safari. Today you will leave for Kota. In Kota you will
visit the city fort and palace.
Day 09: Kota - Bundi - Kota (80 kms / 2 hours - Bothway)
Today you will have an excursion to the fort city of Bundi.
Bundi is most famous for its baoris (step wells) as there are
many impressive ones. On the top of the hill is majestic
Taragarh Fort of Bundi, the interesting fort is worth
exploring for hours. After the whole day excursion return to
Kota in the evening.
Day 10: Kota - Chittorgarh (about 180 km / 4 hours)
After the breakfast, you will drive to Chittorgarh. In the
noon you will visit the world famous fort of Rajasthan, the
Chittorgarh Fort. On the crest of the enormous grey hill,
girdled by massive walls and seven majestic gateways, one
stumbles upon shattered palaces, a "Temple of Mirabai" - the
mystic poetess and the intricately carved nine storeyed Tower
of Fame, built in the 12th Century in honour of Lord Adinath,
the first Jain Tirthankara.
Day 11: Chittorgarh - Udaipur (about 120 km / 2˝ hours)
Today you will drive to Udaipur.
Day 12: Udaipur
Today you will start your sightseeing with the visit of
Sahelion-Ki-Bari. This Garden of the Maids of Honour is well
laid out with extensive lawns and shady walks. After the visit
of Garden of Maids you will visit a Museum of folk art. After
a break you will visit the City Palace, the biggest Palace in
India, where 4 generations of Maharajas added their
contribution. The museum of the palace includes the beautiful
peacock mosaic and miniature wall paintings of Indian
mythology. Today you will have an opportunity to visit a
traditional painting school and see the famous miniature
paintings done. In the evening you will have a Boat ride on
the lake Pichola.
Day 13: Udaipur - Jodhpur (about 290 km / 6 hours)
After breakfast you will drive to Jodhpur. In the afternoon
you will visit the Mehrangarh Fort (majestic fort). Mehrangarh
Fort is built on a steep hill and is among the best in India
with exquisitely latticed windows in residential apartments
within. You will also visit the Jaswant Thada, a royal
cenotaph built in white marble. In the evening you will have a
walk through the Bazaars of Jodhpur.
Day 14: Jodhpur - Pushkar (about 300 km / 6 hours)
Today you will leave Jodhpur and drive to Pushkar. (if this
tour takes place during the time of Pushkar Festival you will
spend 2 nights stay in Pushkar instead of one and therefore
the duration of this Tour will be extended for one more day
making it 17 days tour.)
Day 15: Pushkar - Delhi (about 420 km / 8˝ hours)
In the early morning, after having breakfast drive to Delhi.
Arrival in Delhi in the late evening.
Day 16: Flight to Home
Around midnight flight to home destination.
