Day
01: Flight to India (Delhi)
Around
midnight arrival in
Delhi. New Delhi, the cosmopolitan city and
capital of India is the main gateway for the travelers to
India. Upon arrival, you
will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred
to the hotel.
Day
02: Delhi - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (about 200 kms)
In
the morning we drive to Agra. Enroute we make a stop and visit
Fatehpur
Sikri,
which was once an imperial capital frozen in time, constructed
by Akbar the Great in the 16th century. This wonderful city
constructed by red sand stones was abandoned as abruptly
as it had been built. It has been generally stated that
it was due to failing in the water supply. In the evening
arrival in
Agra. Evening free at leisure.
Day
03: Agra
We start today our sightseeing by a visit to the
Agra Fort,
built by three of the greatest Mughal emperors. The construction
of this massive structure began in 1565 under Akbar's reign
and continued till the time of his grandson's reign, Shah
Jahan who built the impressive imperial quarters and mosque.
After the visit of Agra Fort we proceed to visit the most
beautiful monument of India, the
Taj Mahal, an enduring
monument to love, with a continually fulfilling beauty. It was built
by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1631-52, as a tomb
and memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal (Jewel of
the Palace), who died at the age of 39 giving birth to her
14th child. We spend enough time at Taj Mahal to
take this impressive memory home.
Day
04: Agra - Jhansi (by train) - Khajuraho
In the morning we drive to the railway station to
catch the Bhopal Shatabdi train to Jhansi. Upon arrival, you will be met by our
representative and later drive to
Khajuraho. Khajuraho was the capital
of the Chandela dynasty. The Chandela Kings claimed descent
from the moon. The temples of Khajuraho are among the finest
examples of temple craftsmanship in the whole of India.

05: Khajuraho
Today
we visit the temple complex of
Eastern Group and
Western Group to see
the most beautiful temples in India. Most famous among them
is the Laxmana Temple, which is dedicated to god Vishnu.
The presence of erotic sculptures in the Temples at Khajuraho
is one of the expression among others of the celebration
of all human activities displaying different aspects of
Hinduism. Evening free for leisure.

06: Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh National Park (about 230 kms)
In
the morning from Khajuraho we will drive further to visit
Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh National Park is situated amidst the Vindhyas mountain range in Madhya Pradesh. The famous white tigers were first found in the Bandhavgarh National Park. The other wildlife attractions in the park
besides Tiger includes Regal Gaur, the Muntajac, Jungle Cat, Ratel, Porcupine, Rhesus Macaque, black faced Langur, Nilgai, Chital, Chinkara, Sloth Bear, Four-horned Antelope, Deer, Striped Hyena, Fox, Jackal, Leopard, Mongoose and Wild Boar.
Day 07: Bandhavgarh National Park
Today
in the morning we have jeep safari in
Bandhavgarh
National
Park and watch the activities of various animals like
black faced Langur, Nilgai, Chital, Chinkara, Sloth Bear, Four-horned Antelope, Deer, Striped
Hyena and Tigers.

08: Bandhavgarh National Park
Today
in the morning we have jeep safari in Bandhavgarh National
Park and watch the activities of various wildlife animals.

09: Bandhavgarh National Park - Kanha National Park (about
200 kms)
In the morning we drive further to visit
Kanha National
Park. Kanha National Park is the largest wildlife sanctuary in Asia and is one of the first Project Tiger reserves in India.
It covers
an area of over 1945 square km and was established in the year
1974. This park is a home of variety of animals like
Tiger, Porcupines, Jackals, Sloth Bear, Jungle Cat,
Macaque, Dhole (wild dogs), Bison, Barasingha and a wide
variety of birds.

10: Kanha National Park
Today
in the morning we have jeep safari in
Kanha National Park
and watch the activities of various animals like
Tiger, Barasingha, Spotted deer, Blackbuck, Porcupine, Grey Langurs, Mongoose, Hyena, Jungle Cat, Leopard, Nilgai, Gaur, Indian Bison and Wild Pig.

11: Kanha National Park
Today
in the morning we have jeep safari in Kanha National Park
and watch the activities of various wildlife animals and
birds.

12: Kanha National Park - Nagpur (about 266 kms)
Today
we drive to Nagpur. Nagpur means the city of the snakes.
This city is located near the geographical center of India.
Nagpur is known throughout the country as the "Orange City"
as it is a major trading centre for oranges and the entire
region has a climate favourable for large scale cultivation
of oranges. Recently awarded for being the cleanest city of
India, Nagpur is reputed to be the second greenest city in
India. In the evening arrive in Nagpur. Rest of the day free
for leisure.

13: Nagpur - Delhi (by air) - Corbett National Park
In
the morning we drive to the airport for the flight from
Nagpur to Delhi. Upon arrival you will be met by our
representative and drive to
Corbett National Park.
Day
14: Corbett National Park
In
the morning we explore the
Corbett National Park and have a
jungle safari. Corbett National Park is located in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Corbett National Park was established in 1936, as the Hailey National Park. Corbett National Park was the India's first national park.
Corbett National Park provides the ideal habitat to various wildlife animals. The major wildlife animals found in this park are Tigers, Leopards, Elephants, Deer, Wild Boar, Leopard Cat, Jungle Cat, Fishing Cat, Sloth Bear, Himalayan Black Bear, Dhole or Wild Dog, Langur, Rhesus Monkey, Himalayan Palm Civet, Indian Grey Mongoose, Common Otter, Blacknaped Hare, Porcupine and Jackal.

15: Corbett National Park
In
the morning we explore the Corbett National Park and have a
jeep safari.

16: Corbett National Park - Delhi (about 300 kms)
In
the morning we drive to
Delhi. Upon arrival you will be
transferred to the hotel.

17: Delhi
In the morning we have sightseeing in Old Delhi. Sightseeing of Old
Delhi includes "Rajghat" and "Jama Masjid", the great mosque of old Delhi. Today we also visit the famous "Humayun Tomb" which
is the first substantial example of Mughal architecture
in India. We will also visit "Qutub Minar" which
is 71 meter high and consists of five stories. In 1199 work
began on this tower, which was intended to be the most glorious
tower of victory in the world. Before we proceed to the
hotel we will drive through New Delhi where we will visit the
India Gate, Government Buildings and Embassies. After having the dinner we leave the hotel for the airport.

18: Delhi
Around
midnight flight to home destination.
