01: Flight to India (New Delhi)
Around
midnight arrival in
New Delhi. The cosmopolitan city and
capital New Delhi is the main gateway for the travellers to India. Upon arrival, you
will be met by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred
to the hotel.

02: New Delhi
The
whole day is at leisure.
Day
03: New Delhi - Corbett National Park (about 296 km)
Today in the morning after having the breakfast we will
drive further to visit the
Corbett National Park. This park
was established in the year 1936 as India's first National
Park, and designated a Project Tiger Reserve in 1973. It
covers a total area of 520 square km. Around 50 species of
mammals, 580 species of birds, 25 reptiles, 110 species of
trees, 51 of shrubs and 33 species of bamboo and grass are
found here.

04: Corbett National Park
In
the early morning we will drive towards Bhuvankhal to
witness the beautiful sunrise and the snow clad peaks of the
central Himalayas. Afterwards we will have a jungle safari
in the
Corbett National Park. In the Corbett National Park
we will watch the activities of various animals like Tigers,
Leopards, Elephants, Deer, Wild Boar, Leopard Cat, Jungle
Cat, Fishing Cat, Sloth Bear, Himalayan Black Bear, Dhole or
Wild Dog, Langur, Rhesus Monkey, Himalayan Palm Civet,
Indian Grey Mongoose, Common Otter, Blacknaped Hare,
Porcupine and Jackal. After visiting the park we drive
further to view the crocodiles along the banks of the
Ramganga River.

05: Corbett National Park - Delhi (about 296 km)
After
having breakfast we drive to Delhi. Rest of the day at
leisure in Delhi.

06: Delhi - Sariska National Park
Today we leave Delhi and drive to
Sariska. It is situated in the northern part of Aravali
hills - one of the oldest mountain range. Sariska National
Park covers an area of 210 square km and was declared a
Tiger Reserve in the year 1973. In the evening we will take
a Jungle safari
in the
Sariska National Park to watch the
activities of Sambars, Chitals, Nilgais, Chausinghas, Spotted
Deer, Jackals, Wild boars, Langurs, Hyenas, Hares, Porcupines,
Leopards etc.

07: Sariska National Park - Ranthambore
In
the morning we will drive to
Ranthambore, which is rich in wildlife. Ranthambore
National Park is surrounded by the Vindhyas and the Aravali
mountains and covers an area of 392 square km. The Tiger
remains the biggest attraction of the Ranthambore National
Park.

08: Ranthambore
Morning and afternoon we will take safari in the
Ranthambore National
Park, which is rich in wildlife. Ranthambore
National Park is surrounded by the Vindhyas and the Aravali
mountains and covers an area of 392 square km. The Tiger
remains the biggest attraction of the Ranthambore National
Park.

09: Ranthambore - Bharatpur
In
the morning we will visit Ranthambore National Park and then drive
to
Bharatpur.
Bharatpur is known for its Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, one of the finest bird sanctuaries
in the world. The marshes here are home to over 360 species
of birds including the Siberian cranes. Bharatpur is popular
for its bird sanctuary - The Keoladeo Ghana National Park-finest
in Asia. Every year the Siberian cranes came here to spend the
winter in the warmer climate of Bharatpur. This sanctuary
has more than 400 species of water birds and is also the
best spot to watch the exotic migratory birds from Afghanistan,
Central Asia, Tibet as well as Siberian cranes from the
Arctic.
Day 10: Bharatpur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
In
the early morning we will explore the
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. After
visiting this sanctuary we will proceed
to Agra. Enroute we make a stop and visit
Fatehpur Sikri,
which was once an imperial capital frozen in time, constructed
by Akbar the Great in the 16th century. This wonderful city
constructed by red sand stones was abandoned as abruptly
as it had been built. It has been generally stated that
it was due to failing in the water supply. In the evening
arrive in Agra. Evening free for leisure.

11: Agra - Jabalpur (by train)
We start today our sightseeing by
a visit to the
Agra Fort, built by three of the greatest Mughal emperors. The construction of this massive structure
began in 1565 under Akbar's reign and continued till the
time of his grandson's reign, Shah Jahan who built the impressive
imperial quarters and mosque. After the visit of Agra Fort
we proceed to visit the most beautiful monument of India,
the
Taj Mahal, an enduring monument to love, with a continually
fulfilling beauty. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah
Jahan between 1631-52, as a tomb and memorial to his beloved
wife Mumtaz Mahal (Jewel of the Palace), who died at the
age of 39 giving birth to her 14th child. We spend enough
time at Taj Mahal to take this impressive memory home. In
the evening we will drive to the railway station for the
train to Jabalpur.

12: Jabalpur
In
the morning arrive in Jabalpur. Jabalpur was the capital of the
Gond kings during the 12th century. It was later the seat
of the Kalchuri dynasty until it fell to the Marathas. Today,
Jabalpur is an important local center. In the afternoon we
have sightseeing in Jabalpur. The main places to visit in
Jabalpur are the Marble Rocks, Dhuandhar Falls.
These rocks rise to 30 m on either side of the Narmada river and in
the moonlight produce a magical effect. We will also visit
Chaunsath Yogini Mandir, a 10th century temple with tone
carvings.

13: Jabalpur - Bandhavgarh National
Park
In
the morning from Jabalpur we will drive further to
visit
Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh National Park covers
an area of 105 square km. and lies in the Vindhyan Mountains.
The animals found in this area are Tiger, Leopard, Sloth
Bear, Gaur, Sambars, Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara, Wild Pigs
It is the same place where white tigers were first originated.

14: Jabalpur - Bandhavgarh National

15: Bandhavgarh National Park - Kanha
National Park
In
the morning we leave the Bandhavgarh National Park and proceed
to visit the
Kanha National Park. Kanha National Park is
perhaps the largest wildlife sanctuary in Asia. It covers
an area of over 1945 square km and was established in the year
1974. This park is a home of animals like Tiger, Porcupines,
Jackals, Sloth Bear, Jungle Cat, Macaque, Dhole (wild dogs),
Bison and a wide variety of birds. If we are lucky we
will get to see the rare hardground Barasingha, which is
found only in Kanha National Park.

16: Kanha National Park
Morning and afternoon jeep safari in
Kanha National Park.

17: Kanha National Park - Khajuraho
In the morning we leave the Kanha National Park and drive
to
Khajuraho. Khajuraho was the capital of the Chandela
dynasty. The Chandela Kings claimed descent from the moon.
The temples of Khajuraho are among the finest examples of
temple craftsmanship in the whole of India. Rest of the
day at leisure.

18: Khajuraho - Varanasi (by air)
Today
we visit the temple complex of
Eastern Group and
Western Group to see
the most beautiful temples in India. Most famous among them
is the Laxmana Temple which is dedicated to god Vishnu.
The presence of erotic sculptures in the Temples at Khajuraho
is one of the expressions among others of the celebration
of all human activities displaying different aspects of
Hinduism. In the evening flight to
Varanasi. Rest of the
day at leisure. Varanasi is without doubt India's most sacred
city and thus visited by over one million people. Varanasi
is also called the city of light. Buddha visited this city
in 500 BC.

19: Varanasi
In
the early morning we take a boat ride on the holy river
Ganges and enjoy sunrise on the boat.
Ghats (flight of steps)
and the activities of pilgrims on that are the principal
attraction for visitors to Varanasi. Thousands of pilgrims
and devotees visit this city to make holy prayers, to meditate
and to purify themselves through taking a bath in the holy
river Ganges In the noon we visit the city of Varanasi.

20: Varanasi - New Delhi (by air)
In
the afternoon we will drive to the airport for the flight from Varanasi to New Delhi. In New
Delhi we have rest of the day at leisure. Rooms are available
to get fresh and change before we depart for the Airport
with Indo Vacations representative.

21: New Delhi
Around
midnight flight to home destination.
