Day
01: Flight to India (New Delhi)
Around
midnight arrival in
New Delhi. The cosmopolitan city and capital
New Delhi is the main gateway for the travellers. Upon arrival, you will be met
by an Indo Vacations representative and transferred to the
hotel.

02: New Delhi
This
day is at leisure either to have sightseeing in Delhi or relaxation.

03: New Delhi - Guwahati
(by air)
In the morning we will have a flight from New Delhi
to
Guwahati. By the afternoon, arrival in Guwahati. Upon
arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Evening
free for leisure in Guwahati.
Day
04: Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park
In the morning from Guwahati we will drive towards
Kaziranga National Park. We will come across the forest-covered
hills, small villages, low- lying fields with stands of
coconut palms and tea estates before we reach Kaziranga
National Park. Kaziranga was declared a game sanctuary in
the year 1908, to save the Indian one-horned rhino. We can
also see Wild Buffalo, Bison, Sambar, Swamp Deer, Hog Deer,
Wild Pig, Hoolock Gibbon, Elephants and Tiger.

05: Kaziranga National Park
Early morning visit the Kaziranga National Park. Evening free for leisure.

06: Kaziranga - Guwahati - Bagdogra (by air)
In
the morning from Kaziranga we will drive to Guwahati to
connect flight to Bagdogra. We will arrive in Bagdogra by
afternoon. Evening free for leisure.
Day
07: Bagdogra - Kalimpong
In
the morning after the breakfast we will proceed our journey
from Bagdogra towards
Kalimpong. Kalimpong is a remote hill
station. Kalimpong has been a meeting point of the once
"Three closed lands" on the trade route to Tibet,
a meeting of the northern neighbors, Bhutan and Nepal. The
beautiful mountain scenery and the abundance of flowers
have made Kalimpong an attractive resort. In the evening we will have sightseeing
in Kalimpong.

08: Kalimpong - Siliguri
We
will enjoy the thrill of early morning rafting on river
Teesta and then drive down towards Siliguri. Arrive in Siliguri
by evening. Evening free for leisure.
Day
09: Siliguri - Kolkata
In the morning after the breakfast
we will drive towards
Kolkata from Siliguri. Kolkata is
the cosmopolitan city and capital of West Bengal. Kolkata
is the largest city of India. Kolkata is an extraordinarily
vibrant and lively city. This city was once the colonial
city of British in India. Today we explore this vibrant
and lively city. We will visit the Victoria Memorial and magnificent
buildings in the area of Chowringhee and Dalhousie Square.
We will also visit the Jain-Temple and the Fort Williams. In
the area of Joransanko we have the opportunity to visit
the family house of the famous Indian writer Rabindranath
Tagore.
Day
10: Kolkata - Sunderbans National Park
In
the morning from Kolkata we will drive to Basanti Port for Sundarbans National Park. From Basanti
by a motor launch we will move towards Sunderbans National
Park. "Sunderbans" means beautiful tigers. Sunderbans
with their mangrove swamps covering around 2500 square km in the Ganga Brahmaputra delta spread across to Bangladesh.
These are the largest estuarine forests in the world. This
reserve has over 200 Bengal tigers, Spotted Deer, Wild Boar,
Monkeys, Snakes and Crocodiles. We will visit the park in
a motor launch.
Day
11: Sunderbans National Park
We
will have a full day cruise through mangrove creeks for
wildlife viewing and bird watching.
Day
12: Sunderbans National Park - Kolkata
In
the morning we will visit Ravindranath Tagore Society to
see the rural development project. Return back to Basanti
Port by the afternoon. From Basanti Port we will drive to
Kolkata. Arrive in Kolkata by the evening.
Day
13: Kolkata - New Delhi (by air)
In
the morning we will have a flight from Kolkata to Delhi. The rest
of the day at leisure (opportunity for the last shopping).
After having the dinner we leave the
hotel for the airport.
Day
14: New Delhi
Around midnight flight to home destination.
